Chapter 2
Providing form and substance (le fond & la forme) were the very basic first steps in order to get this mission started. By defining the format the guideline for the form was established, now there was one remaining major detail to be determined; the very substance of the entire project : who to follow ?
All my log book contained about this part was that it had to be a person but foremost someone I do not know and who doesn't know me : a complete stranger.
And that was obviously the hardest part because who wants to call themselves a stalker and above all absolutely nobody wants to be chased. Especially not any customer I meet at the grocery store down the street, who probably has no clue why she/he chooses this brand over another and probably buys "Elle & Vire" butter" out of habit and eventually because her/his mother already did and she/he has most probably no awareness of the brand's identity related to the very patriarchic founders' values defending craftsmanship, translated through Elle&Vire's official 4 or more P's.
To make a long story short, this was not an option.
And prospecting for a fashion-victim on Paris' Avenue Montaigne wasn't either.
